The Institute of the Lithuanian Language publishes three research journals, dictionaries, sources of old writings, dialectal texts, monographs, collections of articles, resources on practical language usage and other research and research-related books.

The Department of Electronic Publications is involved in publishing electronic dictionaries, electronic versions of old writings, dialectal texts and other research and research-related publications.

The Publishing House of the Institute of the Lithuanian Language is a member of the Lithuanian Publishers Association, the Association of Lithuanian Academic Publishers (LALA) and the Association INFOBALT.

The Publishing House participates in book fairs in Vilnius, Frankfurt, Moscow, Warsaw, Goteborg, Turin, Jerusalem etc.
